No I haven't but I just looked into in quickly on the web and realized it is unbiblical. The gospel of Jesus Christ and God's holy nature cannot be compromised in any way. The only way one can see how their doctrine does not match with God's word is to know what God's word is truly saying. Jesus Christ was never confused in his understanding of God's word in the Jewish Scriptures. The only way Christians can be safe from false doctrine is to trust in what the scriptures teach and how they are taught in their church.

Jesus Christ was loving and accepting. But he was also judging and critical. Not just of hypocrites but he told some sick people to go and sin no more.

Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention. God bless you.

The Emergent Church.. If you mean the one that follows Post-Modern teachings of Darida and others- who proclaim that we should not rely so much on reason...

Taken to the ultimate extreme Post-Modernism claims that we cannot really understand the bible. However there is truth there because while there is plenty of reason to believe in God, ultimately God is bigger than our reason and should be understood by faith. Such was the position of Luther and other Church fathers.

The Christian should hold the middle ground: there is Law (the Ten Commandments) and there is Love. Both exist in harmony according to First John 5:2.

But while Post Modernism is philosophy, the emergent Church uses these teaches and usurps them claiming there is NO Law (Ten Commandments) only Love.

This is prevalent in ALL mainstream Churches. Christians are loving so much they forget to preach about sin and damnations.

The Christian should hold the middle ground for it is fearful thing to fall into the hands of a loving God.

The emerging church (sometimes referred to as the Emergent movement) is a Christian movement of the late 20th and early 21st century that crosses a number of theological boundaries: participants can be described as Evangelical, post-evangelical, Liberal, post-Liberal, charismatic, neocharismatic and post-charismatic. Participants seek to live their faith in what they believe to be a "postmodern" society. Proponents of this movement call it a "conversation" to emphasize its developing and decentralized nature, its vast range of standpoints and its commitment to dialogue. What those involved in the conversation mostly agree on is their disillusionment with the organized and institutional church and their support for the deconstruction of modern Christian worship, modern evangelism, and the nature of modern Christian community.

Sounds just fine to me...what is wrong with discussing religion?
