I need a CD Burner for my PC?

I know nothing about them but checked them out today and there are internal and external. How do I know which one to buy? Which is better?

    Internal and external are equal in use and quality. All it depends on is if you want to have another piece of equipment laying around or if you want it inside the computer and out of the way.
