Replacing distributor o-ring?
How difficult is the job of replacing the distributor O-ring on a 1.6 L Honda motor?
It looks fairly straight forward. Any tips or hints would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Easy as pie my friend:
1.) Unplug the two distributor plugs
2.) Make note of the distributor position and unbolt the 3 bolts
3.) Remove distributor
4.) Use dental pick or small flat-head screwdriver to remove old o-ring
5.) Use some oil from the cam/distributor opening to lube the new o-ring
6.) Re-install.

is somehow easy to do, you dont need special tools or things like that but there are a lot of things inside the distributor an it can be tricky to put all those things back again
if you have a long working table you can put the things in the same order you have take them out

It is a simple job.
Use a bit of generic lube to help install the o-ring if it has a tight fit or place o-ring in hot water for a few seconds then install.
Good luck.
