what's wrong with America's youth these days?

you know I asked this EXACT question a lot of times

and from my point of view and the answers of others, it's always the same...decreased values, too much freedom, materialistic objection being the center of the average young person's world, a lot of illegal immigrants who don't have time for their kids, influence from rap and people like Lil Wayne who practically brainwash these kids as to what is "cool", ignorant uneducated people, susceptible to almost anything they see from the media

it's a really sad thing, but it's reality, and there is always some way to at least deal with it, i'm 19 and have seen so many stupid kids get themselves hurt or killed because of wreckless behavior due to their stupidity to listen to what rap or shows tell them is "acceptable", too many kids are in the media's melting pot and only care about materials, instead of moral values

I say, ZERO TOLERANCE on those little bastards and have some kind of mandatory requirement for every kid in America to learn a certain subject or something, it should be like how it's mandatory for them to get all their hepatitis shots, either way it's something to keep them safe right?

and to those who say otherwise, you're just living in denial, compared to 60 70 years ago the youth of today are a bunch of criminals and ignorant kids, the truth does sting but that's why you have to change for the better, I doubt that in the 1930s girls were opening there legs at the age of 16, girls are sluts nowadays, and guys are a bunch of stupid horn dogs

I basically became 20, yet i believe your discomfort. each and every thing appears to be like a shaggy dog tale to human beings my age and the basically purpose to residing is for having relaxing, and for some reason relaxing = danger, habit and appearing to be a rebellion (it truly is a paradox in itself because if all of us else is appearing like a rebellion...). Worst of all, it would not appear as if its going to regulate, yet fairly worsen. who's accountable? The media almost continuously, the authorities for being so lax with what the country's youngsters is uncovered to, and the final lenience of punishment presented by the regulation and tutorial institutes for acts that are beside the point (no longer to unmarried out man or woman human beings in any of those parts). the country regular is too easygoing, naively wondering each and every thing will workout consultation on its own contained in the destiny; so our youngsters have on the point of 0 reponsibilities even as the youngsters in different international places are transforming into better disciplined practise and publicity to consequences. the finished i imagine you may do is to develop your little ones properly basically so they're going to be a number of those few childrens that fairly recognize and do whats authentic quite of what's incorrect ( and by your words and concerns, it appears like you're already doing reported pastime ). optimistically the few that learn what's immediately can lead the youngsters of day after today in a better way.

Schools and parents aren't teaching kids like they used to. Some kids I have seen are coming out of public schools illiterate. No responsibility. They are good people who must be finished out before entering the world.

you don't see the youth making bombs, in wars, or trying to make another nation miserable.

America's youth is more accepting to other races, religions, and financial status than most adults.

America's youth are the ones who hope to see better in the world, but no one hears them out.

How do you mean? Drugs, sex, disrespect, etc...? I'm 16 and I think we are no worse than our parents and grandparents were as kids.
