I got a lip piercing and I have a fish hook back, I was just wondering if this would cause any..?

harm to my gums or teeth? The fish hook as opposed to the flat head.

It's really not good jewelry to have in your mouth. You should really look into a flat backed post to avoid any oral problems. This is a great site for low priced body jewelry in case you are interested. I personally use them.

yes. I know of someone who recently had to take out his lip ring because the ring was rubbing against his gums and so his gums started receeding and he had some damage to his tooth. eek
