My cat Cleo is exactly the same - all black, with yellow eyes. She can look a bit demonic but is a baby really. My cat is about twice the size of yours (she needs to be on a diet, she weighs 13lb)

It looks like she's saying "get up, now". Or maybe she is protecting you and that is the look she is giving whatever she is protecting you from. She is absolutely gorgeous. How lucky you are. Give her a cuddle from me.
