10 month old sleep issues?
HELP!!! My son doesn't want to sleep ecspecially in his crib. Ok so here is the deal. I have a two year old that was great from day one. Now my son has been a handful from 3 weeks on. He has always had trouble napping during the day but whatever. He had a really good bed time routine going. Dinner, bath and bottle then off to bed between 7-8 p.m. This was the routine for a while sometime he would wake up I give him the binky and he was back asleep. He never was one to wake up at 2 and stay up till 4. Hes up for a bottle(not any more) or biinky then right back asleep. The past week has been really tough. No change to the routine but now after his bottle he is up doesnt want to be held just up. After my DD goes to bed he crawls around crying not wanting to be held and not wanting to be on the floor. He puts his head on his blanky like he is tirted but wont go to bed. If I let him cry it out he barfs and I dont want him to wake up my 2 year old she can be a pain to get back to sleep. During the day he will sleep but not in his crib or my arms only in the swing or car seat. I dont know what I can do for him. I know he has bad habits because of things I have done but does anyone have any advice for me????

I had real trouble with my son until I tried the controlled crying method. Stand by the cot when you put him down and slowly move further and further away. It's awful because they cry so much. You have to be careful not to look directly at them, don't talk and don't pick them up. You might find some more information on the web.
Hope you get on ok.

sleep patterns often change every few months. so just find a new way that makes him comfortable to fall asleep and stick with it until he changes again. good luck.
