Will Humans ever go to Mars?
Does anyone know is Humans will ever be sent to Mars? If so in our lifetime ...say within 60-70 years? Also is it true that within 20-30 years people will be taking vacations to the moon...it all seems sort of hard to believe!

Well, it won't be anytime soon at least. We have some technical problems to resolve first. First and foremost, a powerplant to drive the works. We COULD do a simple ballistic path such as we did with the moon, but that means a really LONG travel time with a round trip being measured in YEARS. Which presents the next hurdle. We currently do not have a way that works to support life for that long a period of time in the vacuum of space, at least not that is proven. For years, there are/have been people living in closed environments working to figure out exactly HOW to make it work in space. The thing is, to date it has not worked all that well here on dry land. It all comes down to the powerplant. There is simply no way to make the power needed to make any of the things you suggest practical. There is ONE technology available which could work, nuclear, but that is so politically explosive, I doubt it will ever be put into use.

*ever* is a long time.
There are no physical barriers to folk going to Mars - merely engineering challenges.
So, I'm an optimist (and an ex-aerospace engineer, who used to work on planetary missions) - so 'yes' I believe humanity will reach Mars.

As I lack a crystal ball, it is not possible for me to demonstrate whether your prediction is true or not.
I suggest that it is possible - but not likely.
Perhaps in the 30 to 50 year time frame.
Quite likely within 100 years.
By which time I imagine that reaction engines will seem rather passé and orbital towers (at least prototypes thereof) will make the whole getting-to-orbit business cheaper by about 6 orders of magnitude.
After that, all bets are off.

not in the next 20-30 but quite possibly in 60-70 years, im going anyway

Yes, NASA is already planning it and has a whole mission program called Moon, Mars and Beyond. Click my source link to read all about it. It's very exciting, although we might not see it in our life time. Either way, we'll get there some day.

People will never take vactions to the moon. Do you have any idea of how much putting together a shuttle that goes to the moon costs? Me either but I know it's many millions. Even more costly for Mars.
