Selig shamed the game by allowing steriods to be used for years.
Selig will think about punishment for A-Rod? Based on what? There were no rules agianst it. The players were told they'd receive no punishment if they tested positive and the results were to be shredded. Selig is a disgrace. How about those other 103 players?

Selig is a chest puffer who's constantly going to do some thing after the pony has been set loose of the barn. comparable with the gamers. Why wasn't Roy Oswalt vocal previously this? He knew what replaced into happening, each and all the gamers knew. no one has a proper to be on a pulpit in this deal. tremendously Curt Schilling, who positioned his *** between his legs while he went previously Congress. Any participant who speaks out now must be counseled to close the #$%#@!! up. they have had years to remark and all remained silent. Why did no longer Oswalt volunteer to co-function with the Mitchell document?

WELL, TALK ABOUT THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK!!
There goes Selig again, playing the shame game.
He knew the rules better than anyone and still he turned a blind eye to steroid abuse. What a hypocrite
No baseball wasn't in deep doodoo, but the so-called big wigs (owners) were worried about their loss of potential dollars and in order to hide their complicity,. After all,the owners are the ones that were found guilty of collusion which led to the strike in 1994.and they tried to make it look like it was the Union's fault.

NO;the shame is the hypocrisy of trying to crucify a player for what was then standard policy. Did the Texas Rangers shame the game, they gave their players these drugs for the benefit of the team not the player.

Hi,
if A-Roid was first, that would be one thing, but this has been in the courts for years.
Selig has admitted they didn't do enough, and though i'm no A-Roid fan (since WELL before this) i can't say he shamed the game.
he is one of MANY, and only the latest to be exposed.
is A-Rod a shame??? of course, but, not the first.
we need something to believe in, and cheaters give us nothing but disappointment... any drugs have no place in sports - any sports.
baseball would have survived without the home run battle - i wouldn't be upset if Maris' record still stood. i was disappointed it was broken - but, watching McGwire run around the bases as happy as a little boy was cute as all heck... too bad he didn't/doesn't deserve it.
no drugs, period.

About as much as Selig did by turning his back and ignoring a problem he knew existed. He's a chest puffing hypocrite and a piece of human garbage. He's always ready to wage a crusade AFTER Pandora has been let out of the box.

Selig = shame on him! He is the highest paid drug mongering sports executive.
