How do you feel about supporting the 14 children of the octuplets mother?

I find it absolutely insane that this woman was supporting her first six kids with FOOD STAMPS and yet she had money for artificial insemination which is very pricey!! Besides the fact of why would you even try to have more kids when you can't even (without help from the government) support the ones you already have? I just can't believe the nerve of this lady. She knows taxpayers already pay for her first six and so she has artificial insemination to have more?! And with the economy the way it is many people can barely afford to pay for their own expenses, let alone pay increased taxes to cover hers! Do you see any reason why she should be allowed to keep her children?

Update:

People like this lady make me feel like a fool for working very hard at my full time job. Heck I oughta just quit and have a bunch of kids!

Update 2:

Lil Gal: My sentiments exactly!

I believe she had the idea that the world would start sending her their

checks asap and that companies would be sending her a lot of feebies. Well I have enough trouble taking care of my own bills and

paying my taxes. I don't want to pay for her foolishnes.

My husband and I struggle just to make ends meet. This woman is way out there. She apparently not only found the money to get inseminated, but also to have some sort of plastic surgery. Will the real Angelina please stand up???? As angry as I feel toward her for having them, I also feel bad for those poor babies. Not one of the 14 will ever know what it is to get mom's attention on a one-on-one basis. Plus, how must the older kids feel? If they don't take them away from her, she's definitely going to need a lot of help financially and otherwise.

Personally, as a Californian, I'm more concerned with all the taxes that are being raised this year to help with the deficit.

It's not like I have to write a check to octopussy, it's the same money we've all been contributing each pay check since we all started working and will continue to pay for the rest of our professional lives.

Might as well ask how I feel about supporting every disabled person, or feeding every child on WIC, or the family living on unemployment because a parent got laid off, it's irrevelent. #1 It's a collective effort and #2 it's there if you ever need it too...

I feel the same about supporting her through my taxes as I feel about supporting the following:

    1) All the children who to go public school, when I pay for mine to go to private schools

    2) All the parents who have 1 child who take government money

    3) The wars we fight

    4) Unemployment for people who got laid off and haven't worked for a year because they haven't found a "rewarding" enough job (when I work all the time whether I love my job or not)

    5) College students who drink every weekend and then fill out the FAFSA and get tons of government aid

    6) All of the people who bought houses they couldn't afford and then got bailed out by the government

    7) All of the people who did not live within their means and then got a huge tax return from the government

Need I go on? My point is that this story is receiving SO much media attention and this lady is getting SO much criticism, and yet so many other things in society waste our tax dollars and no one bats an eye.

Personally I am disgusted as well by this woman and more so by the Drs at the clinic that performed the IVF procedure several times already on her!

We should not have to support her or her children but it's the children that will suffer so it seems there is no choice.

Taking a child away from it's mother is cruel but she seems mentally unstable so it might be for the best...or at least take the newest 8 away and no more handouts for this women!!!!!

She should have to give the kids to the Circus and they can sit in a dunk tank when they are old enough to swim...
