High end audio amplifiers for the audiophile at about $500-$525 range(For subs)...any recommendations?

I want an amp that will compliment this system...Right now Im running an alpine Cdplayer(CDA-9885),CDT audio for the front components powered by an oldschool(90's)Rockford fosgate punch 200 x2 DSM and The subs are 2-10"Boston acoustic G5 series.

I would like a clean sounding amp with PLENTY of power...at LEAST 1000 watts....I would prefer to run the subs at 4 ohms but I can achieve 2 ohms as well.Any suggestions welcome

Update:

I want an amp to power the subs if I didnt make myself clear...The subs are 450 watts RMS and 4 ohm DVC each...again,4 ohm impedance sounds better in my opinion so I prefer to achieve 1000 watts at 4 ohms....thats tough for the price range I allotted

Update 2:

MDC my subs are Dual Voice coil 4 ohm each. That gives me 4 ohm,2 ohm or 1 ohm option....I will run 2 ohms but no less if I have to....I might raise the price range to $600-$650....If I do that, then I would probably get the JL slash 1000/1...its about $675 on ebay.

Update 3:

MY BAD ONLY A 1 ohm or 4 ohm option....I was thinking of my Rockford power HX2 thats 1000 watts RMS and I can get a 2 ohm load with it by itself...Sorry

First, what do you mean by you want to run your subs at 4 ohms but you can achieve 2 ohms? What impedance is the subs you have?

There are a couple of good amps that would meet your specifications. I posted a couple of links below.

There are more that I will think of soon. With that price range you it kind of limits a lot of good amps. There are a lot of good amps that are 1000w RMS at 2 or 1 ohm but not a lot of amps that are 1000w RMS @ 4 ohms in your price range.

I would suggest spending a little more for the Alpine. It is a very clean sounding amp.

    Good Luck!!!
