Do not look at peak power, it means absolutely nothing. You need to look for an amp that does around 500w at 4 ohms or 1 ohm.

Its been quite some time ive been doinf this but you would want your amp's output to exceed your sub's so for a 900w sub i would use 1200 or 1500w amp you can always close your gains on the amp a bit. Kicker makes good amps and so does rckfort. You might want to have a llok at boston acoustics too....
