    Are you using XP or Vista? With Vista you can go to the start menu and type 'computer management' in and hit enter (it will ask for administrator approval), once you are in the computer management window, click on 'Storage' then 'Disk Management'. From there select the drive you are dealing with that has the partitions, right click on the partitions you want to merge and click 'Delete Volume' once you have deleted both partitions you will see unallocated space, right click on that space and select 'New Volume'. You can select the volume number, and name...etc.

    XP requires other third party software that i'm not familiar with, sorry. (another reason why vista is handy) Hope that helps!

    remember to back up the data on those drives before doing anything to them.

    You must stick in your windows disk.

    let everything load.

    delete both partitions

    make a new partition

    install windows

    This will wipe out all data on your computer. Backup your data.
