well my bestest male friend wants to make dinner for us at his place tommow night - he won't go out in public as friends or with others unless we bump into each other as he is worried about my boyfriend I personally think this is worse so I am not going, what does he want and what are his motives?

He has ulterior motives for sure. If he didn't he wouldn't be so worried about your boyfriend. He wants you - get a clue.
