Are people who beleive in hell more or less likely to commit suicide?

I honestly dont think people who commit suicide think about that as one of the choices if they will or will not kill themselves.

i visit't see the position it makes a huge difference. those who believe in hellfire also kill others, rape, abuse, thieve, etc. as a lot, if no extra, that those without such beliefs. Suicide has some distance extra to do with psychological and emotional stability and the skill to ensure previous the instant destiny. i'm helpful God feels extra compassion for them than we may be able to imagine. I say this with a lot journey with the survivors, those who've to handle the suffering, guilt and loss.

Can't you google this on your own? I can't find anything, but I remember hearing that Protestants are more likely to commit suicide than Catholics, b/c Catholics used to teach that anyone who commits suicide will automatically go to hell.

Common sense suggests less likely.

But they are also less likely to get the love and support they truly need from friends and family, and more likely to just get the god/jesus/hell speech. Which isn't going to help ease their pain at all, since their loves ones took the easy way out instead of actually helping them.

no they wont commit suicide and killing is a sin and killing yourself is a bigger sin so the last thing you do is sin and you go straight to hell
