Will this make my running routine easier?

I have been running for about 7 weeks now. I have about 30 pounds left to lose. I have lost over 50 since July. I love running but find it to be rather laborous when I get to the second mile. If I can lose these last 30 pounds in about two - three months, will running become easier? I think the extra 30 is making me tired faster.

It doesn't necesarilly take losing weight. Over time as you keep practicing running will become easier. You have easy days inbetween hard days which helps.

Never try to overdue it. Just continue to run, and when you get tired, slow down or a take a brisk walk the rest of the way.

I think having some upper body strength would make running easier too.
