How do you do a three period moving Average? Or any moving Average for that matter.?

To do a 3 point moving average, yuo have to take the 3 numbers after the number they specify and do a simple average, e.g. 3 point average for the following...
2, 6, 4
2+6+4 = 12
12 divided by 3 = 4
