If Democrats want socialism and communism so bad then pray tell why?

Can you tell me what this pray tell why means you place in all your post ? Is it just some kind of eccentric signature you place on all your post to appear sophisticated? Oh, and by the way, I agree with some of what you say here and in your others post, but I was just curious about this pray tell why jargon. Thanks, God bless.

Socialism has a much broader sense of understanding, it's not simply a "Leftist notion", heck Adolf Hitler named his 1000 years Reich the N.S.D.A.P. National Socialist German Workers Party. Communism will forever be remembered for the Stalinist, Mao experiments in which thousands starved in there grand peoples experiment. Let's just say communism sort is same as talking Ca Ca.

the agenda of political parties is ever changing. Kennedy might have seemed liberal in his day, but if he were alive now, he would be seen as a moderate.

if you look back far enough you see that the political party lines have almost completely reversed from where they started in. The entire south started as democrats, and those republicans up north were hated.

so as you can see we can't judge parties based on the past, we need to look at their actions today, and the democratic party is moving further left than ever, that is why people are saying all those things you listed above.

30 years ago the party was more honest to the people. Today's party is way different;They are just sell outs like any other party and cater to those who have money in the guise of the betterment of people. We have and will continue to lose our freedoms and I for one do not want government in my life. You may, but I don't.

You've tried repeatedly since Wilson, then under FDR, LBJ and Carter.

But let's not let history get in the way of your emotional protests that people are being mean to liberals.

It's so sad to see the conservative mind at work, with its capacity to only handle two or three variations of a concept, like capitalism vs. communism.

Sorry that you can't can only see black and white, when you view things, as good vs. bad, right vs. wrong, pro-America vs. anti-America, patriotic vs. unpatriotic, etc., etc.,

But we Liberals are sophisticated enough to view the world as made up of an infinite variety of colors, as a tremendous range between right vs. wrong, pro-America vs. anti-America, patriotic vs. unpatriotic, etc., etc.,

We understand that there are scores of variations in political philosophy between ultra-right fascism, unrestrained capitalism, moderated capitalism, liberalism, socialism, moderated communism, and ultra-left communism.

When Communist China decided to adopt a small degree of capitalism, I'm sure there were true believing communists in China who reacted just like YOU and complained that their country was capitulating totally to U.S. CAPITALISM.

What is going on is the democrats want to make American life a level playing field for the middle class. This most upsets the republicans campaign of greediness, selfishness and thwarts the GOP's efforts to steal food off of the working classes table.

As a result, the GOP throws such silly words as socialism and communism to detour the democrats efforts.

Clearly any American politician would operate under a capitalist system. Wanting more social programs does not make you socialist. Social democracies in Europe differ from socialism, anyways
