MATH HELP i need a math genius?
am having problems with the following math problems they are about finding the product these are the following if someone can pleaseeee pleaseee help me I will greatly appreciate it thanks:
1. (-2x)(-6x^3)(x^2) I need an explanation of this one and the next ones
2. (x- 5)(x+5)(x - 8)

1) 12(x)^6
because:
i re-wrote the whole equation as (-2) * (x) * (-6) *(x^3) * (x^2)
next step multiply the like terms=>(-2 * -6) * (x* x^3 * x^2) ( Note: when the bases are the same we ADD the exponents that how we get x^6)
=>(12) * (x^6)
=>12 x^6
2) x^3 - 8(x)^2 - 25x + 200
becuase:
(x-5) (x+5) can be written as (x^2 - 5^2)
so we put (x^2 - 25)(x - 8)
now multiply and you get => x^3 - 8 x^2 - 25x + 200

1, The problem to solve is:
(-2x)(-6x^3)(x^2)
Multiply x and 2
Multiply x and 1
The x just gets copied along.
The answer is x
x
2*x evaluates to 2x
Because of the minus sign
2x becomes - 2x
The answer is -2x
Multiply the exponent of x by 3giving
The answer is
x^3 evaluates to
Multiply and 6
Multiply and 1
The just gets copied along.
The answer is
6*x^3 evaluates to
Because of the minus sign
becomes -
The answer is
Multiply -2x and
Multiply the x and
Multiply x and
Combine the x and by adding the exponents, and keeping the x, to get
The answer is
(-2*x)*(-6*x^3) evaluates to
Multiply the exponent of x by 2giving
The answer is
x^2 evaluates to
Multiply and
Multiply the and
Multiply and
Combine the and by adding the exponents, and keeping the x, to get
The answer is
(-2*x)*(-6*x^3)*(x^2) evaluates to
The final answer is
12x to the 6th power
2. x- 5)(x 5)(x - 8)
The parentheses don't balance in your input. The final answer is 0

1. 12x^6
First you multiply the numbers together, and that will be the first part of your answer. So you multiply -2 x -6 and get 12. Next you take the variables, in this case, x, and multiply them, but only if they are like variiables. When you multiply them you add the exponents together and get 6. so the answer becomes 12x^6.
2. x^3 - 8x^2 - 25x + 200
To do this one you should first know how to foil. You just foil two of the parantheses together, and then foil between the new answer and one of the other parentheses. So you know that (x+5)(x-5)=x^2-25. Then you take that answer and rewrite the equation as (x^2-25)(x-8). Foil that new answer out to get the answer written above.

quite simple actually. this is algebra 1 stuff
basically you separate it alll out
1. (-2)(x)(-6)(x^3)(x^2)
2. (x-5)(x+5)(x-8)
the second one can't be separated because you can only separate when it's multiplied.
for number 1 you have to regroup them:
(-2)(-6)(x)(x^3)(x^2)
now for the first two it's easy. just multiply. for the x's, just add the exponents together.
so the final product of number 1 is : 12x^6
now for problem 2
you have to mutiply the first two (or the last two. but must be a pair) then get that product and multiply the last part with it.
so it goes:
(x-5)(x+5)(x-8)
(x^2 - 25)(x-8) [there is no value with just an x because 25x and -25x = 0]
x^3 - 25x -8x^2 + 200
then put them in order with greatest exponent to smallest exponent of x
x^3 - 8x^2 - 25x + 200
that's it.

Hopefully not breaking any rules, but the first one would just be adding powers because you're multiplying. So:
(-2x)*(-6x^3) would just be 12x^4, then:
(12x^4)*(x^2) is simply 12x^6, and I'm pretty sure it's done.
The second is the same concept, except you can only combine like terms, it's FOIL (if they still teach it like that).
So (x-5)*(x+5) comes out to x^2-25 (you get x^2+5x-5x-25) and then:
(x^2-25)*(x-8) is x^3-8x^2-25x+200 and that should be the answer
Good luck!

I see your mix up - A = PiR^2 right? Well, Area = Pi (radius squared), where you put the radius as 48. The Diameter is 24 cm, right? Well, in the formula, radius is only half of the diameter, so you should be using 12^2, not 48^2 Your formula should look like this: Area = Pi(3.14) * 12^2 That'll give you the right answer.

multiply 2 terms together, then multiply the third term to it.
1. 12x^6
2. x^3 -8x^2 -25x +200

1)(-2x)(-6x^3)(1x^2)
-2*-6*1= will be +12
when time exponent will be add exponent it
1+3+2 will be 6
12x^6
(x-5)(x+5)(x-8) FOIL
(X-5)(X+5)= X^2-25
(X^2-25)(X-8)=
X^3-8X^2-25X+200
