Is there Life after Death?

Anyone who says yes or no, truly knows nothing. No one can say for sure, either way. As for me, I truly do not care, I am here today, that's enough for me.

When we die, it is like a dreamless sleep (John 11:11 - 14).

The dead know nothing (Ecclesiastes 9:5).

Those who are dead when Jesus returns will be awoken by the sound of His voice and a spiritual trumpet (1 Thessalonians 4:16) and will be claimed by Him. Those who are alive will follow. This is the First Resurrection and the one all Christians should strive to be part of as they will live forever.

The Second Resurrection is the raising of the wicked dead who will face their judgment and final elimination.

So, yes, there is life after death.

For some, it will be eternal life.

For the rest it will be eternal death.

Not immediately...

(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

(Psalm 13:3) Do look [upon me]; answer me, O Jehovah my God. Do make my eyes shine, that I may not fall asleep in death,

We remain 'asleep' until resurrected...

(Revelation 20:12-13) And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha′des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds.

We are judged...not on what we did during our time alive...but on whether we accept God's KINGDOM or not...

(Romans 6:23) For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our death fully pays for our shortcomings.

So there is nothing remaining to be judged on...

Yet we are judged...So it has to be on something future...

Personally I do, but again no one can really prove it unless you go into medical records and find testaments of people who were declared clinically dead, and see what they said.

Nevertheless you will never truly know until you die, but you can do something toward that day and that is by receiving the free gift of eternal salvation, given free, no cords, strings, or religious commitments, just believe, but if you can't find yourself believing, then just ask God to show you by asking Jesus into your heart and let Him do the rest, it works. He'll even give you a sign of His existence if you ask. One thing it did for me was take away my fear of death.

the GOOD in ONE goes on - forever.

we are made of stardust.

the sun in the sky gave birth to the planets

and supplies daily all necessary nutrition to

plants air & water thus the earth is a child of the Universe.

and those of us who dwell upon it are also children of the Universe.

to become a Universe Citizen is the goal of life here.

STUDY = All Truth is a valid path 2 follo.

Science, Philosophy or Religion.

WORSHIP = Appeal to Life's Essence/Heart Soul & Mind

w/ as much Fervor as Possible as often as yu WILL.

According to the Scriptures, there is life after death in psalms 37:10,11,29.

Also Rev.20:12,13:"I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and the scrolls were opened;it is the scroll of life.

John 5:28,29: "Do not marvel at this,because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice [the voice of Jesus] and come out."

i believe there is no afterlife

i dont need proof to be 100% certain

ive dont have any proof that New York is a massively huge city, or full of crime, or noisy, becuase I have Never personally been there but i certainly am 100% of those things, and thats just one QUICK example i thought of, im sure i could come up with a better one w/ more time

Yes there is, man is composed of body and spirit. It is when this two separates you die physically but your spirit will remain alive and go to spirit world and that's the life after death.
