Ex-Atlanta cops sentenced in deadly botched raid?

Update:

Wow, I just saw this article and I was utterly amazed and shocked that the police could do something like this. First off that no-knock warrent sounds like the police are just asking to get shot, If someone busts in my door I'm going to start shooting I would be justified in shooting the police since I had no idea it was the police in the first place. 2nd do police just carry extra drugs around in order to plant evidence at the scene??? I would think the place would be crawling with police, why were those 3 officers the only ones charged? Every police in that house would have seen the others planting the drugs, why didn't they inform the DA or the Internal affairs dept? I guess you can't assume that the police are going to do the right thing anymore. Its kinda sad ;-(

The police at my HS use to confiscate the kids weed and not report them. We all knew they were just taking to smoke their selves. I guess when they don't smoke it they plant it in 92yr old ladies homes. Sickos.

My mom was raped by a cop in her apt building and after he did that he would harrass her and said he would find a reason to put her in jail if she ever told.

They are just power hungry jerks, that harass the citizens a lot more than they protect them.

a no knock warrant is used in dangerous situations where a suspect maybe hiding themselves, or getting rid of drugs or other evidence. About cops planting drugs, I think it is a minuscule amount of cops like less then one percent who do this. Most cops are good people and are really there to help others.
