It's both a blessing and a curse. A blessing, because you can (normally) forget unpleasant things - like being asked to clean the bathroom or take out the trash. : ) It's a curse for the obvious reason that you need to work twice as hard at times in order to get things done... Writing "To Do" lists don't help if you misplace the list.

Forgetfulness is most assuredly a gift ... somethings are just better off forgotten (the sooner the better).
