Found in central Florida near a river. Looks like a tagua nut but it's not. It's brown, smooth, smaller than a golf ball, round like a tagua nut and has a black ring around it. It rattles too, so there is some sort of little dried up creature inside. Any clues?

The outside unit will not come completely on. It's starting with a buzzing noise as it would usually do then cuts off and tries again a few seconds later. What could the issue? I want to have some knowledge before calling the repair person.

Would it be necessary, as far as taxes are concerned, for the family member to have to employ me? Does she have to report this on her taxes? She was recently told this by an attorney and we both find it to be a bit "out there". This would mean a W2 for me and the whole 9 yards of fica, ss, etc???? Please give me details, where to find details myself, etc.

Does having a closing date scheduled mean that we have been approved for the mortgage? Just making sure.

Someone lost an African Grey in our town and I'm sure it's sitting on our gate just talking away right now. I want to rescue this poor lost bird and get it back to it's home. I have seen posters all over town. The family posted on craigslist too but did not give his name. I have emailed them. It's too late to call. What do you think would be the best thing to do or say to get this bird to come to me tonight so that I can keep him safe till morning?

I'm watching my nephews today and they are normal kids. They get wild at times and have fun and as I see it they are just normal. They had a friend over and they were looking at stuff on Youtube and the friend pulls up something that he and his brother watch all the time. It was, what I would call, extreme nature, I mean horses doing...... The friend was saying some rather nasty stuff, I won't go into that. I will say that it was so nasty and uncalled for that it made me think he has some issues and will have more as he matures. He's only in the 3rd grade.He didn't know I could hear. When I looked over his shoulder I grabbed the laptop, closed it and the friend said, "Hey, I was using that!" I said, "I don't give a damn!" He placed his hands over his ears and said, "Children in the room." (bratty) That's when I said that children shouldn't be watching this and making comments like his.

My question boils down to this.....

Should I tell his parents? I think they know his behavior. I don't think they care. Am I overreacting or is this normal for some 7 year old boys. It's not normal for my nephews, I know that for sure.

I'm just disgusted and can't get over it.

Could the battery fail completely even when receiving power from the power cord? It has turned on a time or two and then the touch pad will not work at all and the cursor will not move then it shuts itself off. Please give me a clue. I don't want to have to purchase a new one.

Forgive me...this will be somewhat long.

6 years ago my husband, child and I sold our home to move to the same city where my Mother and her husband live. The decision was made based on several points; the first one being the economy (yada yada yada) the second was to be closer and the third was for me to work for them in renovating an old lodge. (It's what I love to do) We made a verbal 10 year agreement. We would live at the lodge rent free while upgrading, renovating and leasing 11 other units. Then they would sell or whatever they chose to do, sending us on our merry way with $10,000. Well enough, or so we thought. In the meantime...my "golden child" brother gets out of prison early and they decide he needs a place to live and the deal we made is off and they are giving him the job! WTH? This means he now has access to peoples homes. He served 7 years for robery with a dangerous weapon and has a record a mile long. What kind of messed up business decision is that???

I have not been bringing home a paycheck. My husband has but the economy has still been tough with the cost of living being so high. I'm finding it very difficult to find a job and we have to be out of here by the end of February. We have a place to live if we were in FL but we're not, we're in NC.

My husband thinks it is best for me and my daughter to move on to FL because we would have a place to live there but I don't want to be without him. His co-worker has offered him a small basement apartment until he finds work in FL. Here's my point: He has tried for several months to find a job in FL and has not been successful. We have not spent any time apart in our 16 year relationship & I feel as if the economy is coming between us. I could say that my F'n Mother is to blame but she is out of the picture at this point. We are not even talking. She has never wanted me to have a relationship with him. She has had her nose up my sisters relationships and messed with her life. She has also done the same to my brother and has done everything she can to keep the 3 of us siblings from communicating. What kind of mother does this? I'm just all messed up and need someone to validate my feelings about this whole mess. Please and Thank You.

It's rock, the name of the group starts with Mo or Moe I think. The song says something about living a full life. I guess it's considered hard rock. Thanks for your help. It was played at my nephews funeral and I thought it was awesome! Much better than some sad, weird music that had nothing to do with his personality.
