How much notice to ask a general officer to come and speak?
I know that generals are pretty busy, but my BOLC class waited kind of long to get a speaker for our graduation. Is it probably too late to send a formal letter to GEN Dunwoody or BG Quantock to come speak on 20 Mar?

You can send a letter or an email (technology!) to the Public Affairs section of the generals respective commands. I doubt that they would schedule something without some sort of lead time. As to Gen Dunwoody, I imagine that the good general is deluged by speaking requests.
