Have you held back seeing the Dr. because of the economy downturn?

Update:

you know huscafat, if you are that paranoid about the waiting rooms, you COULD go with a mask and gloves, but then someone would suspect your reasons for being there are not a cold!!!!

No. What holds me back from doctors- their appointment waiting area.

Its filled by diseases, they use no airsterilisation machines 99% on there, and not only you are sick who can become even more sick waiting in such an area to get appointed.

Well, since I'm on medicine for blood sugar, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetic neuropathy, I have to see the doctor periodically to get checked and get my medicines refilled. In the town near which I live, they have a clinic for people who cannot afford the high prices a lot of the private practioners charge. This clinic only charges $15 a visit, but if you don't have the $15, they will see you for free. Also, they have their own pharmacy and it only costs $4/prescription. I feel like the Lord has provided this service for those who cannot afford medical insurance, like me and my husband. He promised that if we would first seek His righteousness, that He would take care of our needs - I have, and He does. God bless!!! :)

I'm pregnant, so I have to. But, when I wasn't, even when the economy wasn't in crisis, I didn't go to the doc until I was on deaths doorstep. LOL
