  • What is the BEST Printer out there for home use?

I have an Epson Artisan 730. After each print job, no matter how big or small, and no matter if I'm printing text or photos; I am having to do a head cleaning because the next print job comes out with lines or the colors are not correct.

What printer do you think is best for home use?

  • My 3 1/2 year old son is fearful of strangers. Will this pass?

He has not had any trauma here at home and I know some children are very shy and fearful of strangers, but this just seems unusual to me. My son has always been fearful of strangers, to the point where he will clinch at my clothes if someone comes near, and he will scream bloody murder if they even say hello to him. He is only comfortable with one other child that my oldest is friends with (a girl who is 8), and my parents. Anyone else, forget it. He will not even give them a chance. Not even here in his own home.

Even when we take him to the park, he is not comfortable playing with the other children. Only his brother. If another child approaches him and wants to play, he will make a beeline in the other direction.

Will this pass? I sure hope so because he will start kindergarten in 2014. I don't know what to do to get him to not be so shy or fearful of others. His brother was the total opposite when he was this age.

    Any tips? Advice?

    Thank you so much.

  • Taxes; Can't E' File if Corporate office is in Canada?

My husbands Company's Corporate Office is in Canada, but he works here in the US. The Tax Cut software is saying that we can't E' File if the company is out of the US.

Not sure if this is a glitch in the Tax Software or if this is an IRS thing?

Tried calling HR Block and they want to charge $20 for talking with them. NOPE. Not going to do that. IRS not available today.

Can anyone shed some light on this? We're still going to call the IRS tomorrow, but just wondering if someone else may know the answer.

    Thanks so much!

  • My Lawn Mower engine will turn but won't start?

There is fuel in the tank. The gas has only been sitting for two weeks. I replaced the spark plug, cleaned air filter, and it turns but won't start. I have only had this mower for less than a year. I mow every week, to every two weeks, so the gas shouldn't go bad right? There is proper oil as well. I have a Toro Recycler 6.75 Torque, 149cc "Easy Guaranteed Start" mower. Our last mower lasted us 7 years before we had to do anything to it and the only thing that was wrong with that one, was the throttle. Now this brand new one, supposedly a great model, won't start.

What else should I do? I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty. I like mechanical stuff. Should I check the Fuel Line? How would I go about cleaning it? What else should I do?

  • Slow response when I type? What can be the problem?

I'm using my keyboard and not sure why I'm having a very slow response in typing my emails. I've deleted cookies and cache's. and that doesn't seem to help. Could it be yahoo's email itself? Or my computer? What can I do to correct this?

  • Traveling with 3 Cats...how did you do it?

We may just be moving to San Antonio Tx. That's about 15 hour drive for us. We have a big truck and we're going to get three big crates for our cats to each lay in. We'll probably get harness leashes to take them out to go potty....but how was your experience? Is there anything you wish you would have done differently?

  • Computer Laptop blacked out after uploading a video card driver?

Our Dell laptop screen is broken, so we are using an external monitor for the laptop. We needed to update the video drivers, so we uninstalled the video driver and had windows "vista" use the generic VGA Driver. When the laptop rebooted, it was unable to send the signal to the external monitor. Since the laptop screen is broken, how do I "see" what I am doing in order to install the correct driver?

Is there any way that I can use my main computer to connect to the laptop in order to install the correct driver?

I know how to do remote access, but from what I have been trying, there is no way for me to see what I am doing. Any recommendations/suggestions/tips?

  • Have you ever heard of a part on a hard drive called a "clutch"?

My parents took their computer into a repair shop because it was acting up and they couldn't even

log on, as windows wasn't working.

Anyway, the repair guy said that the "CLUTCH" on the hard drive needed replaced/repaired.

I have never heard of any part on a computer called a Clutch. Are there any Techs, Software/Hardware developers etc. out there who can help me understand this please?

    Thanks.

  • My husband's new employer doesn't take out for taxes..we have to do it?

This is the first time we will have to do this on our own. Is there anything we should be aware of, or how should we organize this to where we don't get bombarded at the end of the year with paying?

Should we get a separate bank account to put money away for taxes, or are we going to be sending our payment for taxes out of each paycheck? How does that work?

    Thanks in advance.

I've seen this advertised on tv, and it sounds like it is a pretty good program for toddlers. Have you tried this? If so, what do you think about it? Was it successful?

  • Anyone have problems with auto glass company harrassing you?

It's one thing to solicit a business through mail, phone etc., but to come to your home and inspect your vehicle 'without' your permission, feels like a direct invasion of my property. I don't think it is very respectful of a company to allow their solicitees to do that. They harrass you at the carwash, and call you twenty times a month, and come to your door. We've had two guys come to our door in just a week and a half from auto glass. They're real nice at first, and they have excuses, and answers for every NO you tell them, and when you finally get fed up with their persistance, they get cocky with you, and down right mean!!!

Isn't their a law for this kind of harrassment? Can it be construed as harrassment?

We have told these people time and time again to leave us alone and they won't do it. Is there something legally we can do about this?
