tom brady & peyton manning?

ther are always gona be ppl saying they suck, and they are obviously wrong, i dont think it will ever stop. sadly, not everyone can be as respectful as you :]

Peyton Manning is a natural pocket passer who's carrer stats will someday go beyond Marino's and Favre's.

He has a more naturally gifted arm than anyone in the NFL today and most who have ever played.

Brady is a very good QB who has shown great leadership skills but untill '07 when he got Moss he was a high percentage passer.

Meaning he didn't attempt to strecth the field as Manning does.

I would take Manning over Brady becasue Peyton has proved he too can win a SB and even just one ring combined with his stats makes him better.

The problem with Brady here recently, although I'm sure he was clueless, is Spygate.

Senator Arlin Spector met with NFL Commisioner Roger Goodel in 02-08 and was told by Goodell that Belechick actually handed over many tapes of filiming opponts defensive signals going back to 2000.

Goodel initially lied and said it was only the Jets game in '07.

He admitted he destoryed the rest of them so no one else could get them and use them to their advantage.

So we don't know prior to Moss who even Dante Culpepper had great stats with, which great throws by Brady were him figuering out a D or it just falling in to place for him and having an easy completion becasue the coaches knew the formations.

Regardless, no one extends the play like Ben Roethlisberger or makes plays out of the pocket as well.

This is why he has more wins in his first 5 seasons than any QB ever and 2 rings.

I look at Tom Brady as the John Elway of this era and Peyton Manning as the Dan Marino. Brady has the leadership of an Elway and has done well even with just ok talent on the offensive side of the football for much of his career.

Peyton Manning has had better weapons around him until the past two seasons, much like Dan Marino did with lots of great receivers to throw the football to.

They are both great players and are currently the best two quarterbacks in football.

I have no problem with Manning. I just wish that more people would notice his "playoff problem" instead of ramming his regular season statistics and records down my throat. Brady may not have have the records Manning did, but then again, he never was surrounded by the talent which Manning had around him until 2007. Manning is a pretty good quarterback, but on my charts, he does not touch Brady and it upsets me that people think that he is better than Tom.

They are both great QBs. I think Brady is better but Manning is a better leader.

Yes there is a difference but is the difference big enough to matter

Brady wins more because he tries to make the guys around him better
