Do you believe a person can be born evil?

the Bible says that we are all born sinners, but i don't think that anyone is born evil.

In general, no.

But there are a small minority of people who are sociopaths or psychopaths. That, I think, is as close as it gets to real evil.

I knew a sociopath once. He was the absolute scum of the earth. He used to cheat on his girlfriend, whom he didn't love, because he had no feelings. He trained men how to go out and take advantage of drunk girls. He date raped a couple other girls. He was a big druggie. He prayed on the weak and vulnerable and hid it under a mask of "being into BDSM" because he enjoyed inflicting pain on people, regardless of the harm it did them.

Just a sick f*ck. I was lucky enough to be on the outside looking in, but I knew quite a few of the people he dismantled.

The worst thing about these people is that they can't be fixed. No therapy, no medication, no treatment on earth, can make these people good again. They're broken.

I don't even consider them to be human.

depends what you mean by evil.

to me, evil is a person who does realy bad things because it gives him or her pleasure or they find it funny, or someone who does real bad things for the sake of it.

hitler would not be evil under these terms, so you would have it hard to find someone i call ''evil''.

you can be born psychotic, with no emotions. you just understand emotions, you understand why others have them, and you know how to manipulate them. but you dont actually feel them.

depending on how bad a psychopath is, it could fall under doing bad things just for the sake of it.

but i fail to find an example.

No, however, we do know that there are a few people born amoral or without the ability to determine moral behavior. These people also lack a sense of empathy.

I don't think people are born evil. I think some are born crazy.

No one is born evil. People choose to be.

People can be born sociopaths. They care nothing for the feelings or well-being of others and therefore do whatever they wish to get what they want.

i beleive a person can be born with bilogical issues and get psychological issues in their life that makes them more prone to doing "bad" than other people

meglomaniacs, serial kilers, big corperations and companys, and all beauracrats are what i call socially "evil"

Only Sociopaths. But even that's not technically evil either- it's more about self interest and lack of empathy.

My ex-boss. He lived to make money and would abuse laws, employees, and anyone else who stood in his way. He loved manipulating people by telling them to do something then berating them when they did it, claiming he never told them to do it. He treated his son abysmally and thought if you had money you were better than other people, even if you got it through screwing people over. I can't wait until he dies so I can spit on his grave.
