On your credit report is it unlawful.....?

to put the wrong address where it asks for your address and phone # so the creditors can't find you? This is when you are requesting a copy of your credit report I say it is but my sister said it's not and I don't want her to get in any more trouble than she is already in.

Update:

I'm asking is it unlawful, is it punishable by law

This tactic won't work....they keep all old address on file for several years...Even if you put a wrong address on your credit files the collectors would still have access to your prior addresses.

Rent a post office box. When you request it, enter that P.O. Box as an address and enter no telephone number. After you receive the credit report, go back to the post office, say that you no longer need the P.O. box, and return the key.

You can delete your telephone number.

I do it since I don't believe its the credit bureaus business.

The creditors all have my phone number already.

If not, they know how to get it.
