What is your remedy for getting your partner to stay on his/her own side of the bed at night and not crowd you?

I know lots of people say get a larger bed, but a larger bed would not fit in our room nor would twin beds. But my sleep is consistently interrupted by my partner taking up half the bed, the only problem is the half he takes up is in the middle. I have tried pushing, shoving, cold feet etc, but nothing seems to work. I have even went to the other side of the bed thinking that would help. My next step is a separate room and I don't really want to do that. Please give me your suggestions (that are legal) to help me out here. Thanks

    start snoring.. lol

talk to him n tell him how hard it is to sleep dat way. If he repeats, wake him up n tell him to sleep in lounge. I hope it helps.

The quickest thing you can do, is take a firm bed pillow and put in between you. That is what I do and it does work the majority of the time.

I know how you feel, and it really makes it difficult to function during the day when you lose so much sleep. Oh, and getting a king sized bed isn't always the answer, we moved up to a king and it still happened. *sigh* That's when the bed pillow thing started.

i don't have to worry about that... i just nudge my husband and he rolls over- especially if it's an annoying nudge. However, I looked it up and I did find a bed divider online that is advertised to do the job. http://www.gobedbug.com/GOPAGES/beddivider.htm

The link will take you directly to the page... now i'm going to browse the site more and see what else they have.

i've been in this situation. no matter where i laid, i was being shoved away and told to sleep on my side. ive even been pushed out of bed, because she said i was on her side. a quick punch to the throat will fix the problem temporarily. enough of this, and it will fix it permanently. she knows where my side is now.
