My coach purse is filthy and needs to be more than spot cleaned.?

I have the urge to just put it in a tub of warm soapy water, but am afraid I will mess it up. Any suggestions? I know there are cleaners for specific Coaches, but they are for spot cleaning, and spot cleaning isn't gonna cut it.

I believe it is a Signature Stripe ( with the leather stripe around the bottom part of the purse) I think it has been replaced, because I cannot find it on the Coach website anymore.

Update:

Thanks. You guys are awesome.

This works for my signature strip coach purse

Coach offers a Signature Fabric Cleaner for $10 to be used with most Signature fabric handbags.

If you but it, use this method

Apply a small amount of cleaner to a clean soft white cloth and rub in gentle circular motions.

Wipe away excess with a clean white dampened cloth.

Blot dry with a clean white cloth and allow to air dry completely before reuse.

For best results, use this product sparingly and blot dry completely after cleaning to minimize wetting the surface and to reduce the likelihood of leaving rings.

I suggest taking it to the dry cleaner they will clean it perfect thats what i do with mine or you can even send it to coach and they will clean it as well. I wouldnt put it in water your crazy lol you dont want to mess up your purse then you will regret doing that.. try some leather cleaner as well you can get it in a department store such as macys.

u can buy leather cleaner for what ever color your purse is, it will take off some stains and scars. but if it is fabric, maybe your could try carpet cleaner or dry cleaning
