Is Bobby Jindal the sacrificial lamb for the Republican party?
As a joke, back in November, The Onion used the headline "Black Man Given Nation's Worst Job" to report that Obama had won the election. In case I need to explain the joke to you, it has something to do with how bad the economy is and how he is the first black President of The United States. As if to say, the only reason he won was because it's now the worst job he could get.
But think about it, what's the real worst political job in America? Could it be the spokesperson for the Republican party.
Job requirements:
Explain to America why we should "Stay the course" with the failed polices of the last eight years.
Be the second act whenever The President makes a speech and try and be as eloquent as Barack Obama.
It sounds like to me, if you take that job it would be political suicide.
I know that this is probably the wrong place to ask this question, but this is where I like to hang my hat. If anybody is offended by my political question in the R&S, Here's your alt. Is god real?

I was a republican for years, until W lied to us and got us into
a really stupid war in the middle east. Two texans, W and Lindon
got us into really dumb international quagmires.
There is a spiritual component to your question because cause
and effect still operate in this world. We get what we deserve.
Greed and favoritism have become rife in this country in the
past few decades and now comes the big changes. A leveling
of the playing field in power and economics.
Obama can't possibly do it in four years, but he can get us
headed in the right direction.
I don't think any republican can help the party, unless they
help with the national house cleaning.

They are trying to win people back to their side and have been ever since they foolishly picked Palin as VP candidate. It's so transparent and it makes them look like idiots. I understand sticking to what makes you you, however, you must also recognize that times change and be able to adapt to those changes.
