how do you know when you have an orgasim?

i dont ever know if i had an orgasm or not....what exactly is it and how do you know when it came during sex. what actual feeling do you get?

    Imagine that your body is a dam, and it's filling up with water. You like the water, it feels good, but it creates tension and pressure, and it keeps building and building until you almost can't stand it. Finally the dam breaks, and the release feels SO incredibly good, and as the water rushes past every drop fills you with pleasure.
