Are there any fees involved when casting a vote for a American Idol candidate?

    not if you're calling from landlines.

    yes if you're calling using a cellular phone.

    Also, standard text messaging rates apply if you text the word VOTE to your favorite's number.

    It's free from landlines. If you call from a cell phone, then whatever cell phone rates you have, apply.
