How are Avatar characters "Stronger" then Naruto characters?

Don't underestimate the Avatar characters, and don't insult them either. Show a little respect, all of the fighting done in Avatar are all based on real martial arts so they DO know how to use fists and feet and elbows and any other part of the body that can be used as a weapon, AND since they're based on martial arts, they do know how to kill people. Take it from a martial artist who can find 5 ways to kill a person in 2 seconds xD

BUT!

Just cuz I respect all of the Avatar character's martial arts doesn't mean I acknowledge them as stronger than the Naruto characters. There may be a few Avatar characters that can beat some of the Naruto ones, (like Aang in his avatar state) but for the most part, most Naruto characters would win, unless you take away all ninjutsu, genjutsu, and kekkei genkai, which is not likely lol

I may be a fan of both Naruto and Avatar, but that doensn't mean I'm gonna be bias towards one. It's all about logic my friends lol

A long rant like this really wasn't necessary...and you obviously didn't watch Avatar very much. 1. Aang can't bloodbend, only Katara can, and only during the full moon. 2. Aang can freely control his Avatar state now, so he doesn't need a trigger anymore, unlike Naruto. Naruto characters would probably pwn all the Avatar characters though, Aang's the only one that could do anything. And I really don't get how you could say Avatar is a copy of Naruto, that's just plain stupid, there's barely any similarities except the elements thing, but that has roots hundreds of years older than either of the 2 shows.

Your right, Naruto characters are stronger than Avatar characters. The only reason people think Avatar characters are stronger, is because they control elements. An example is Aang against Naruto. Aang would just blow Naruto with some wind, but Naruto could turn into the nine tailed demon fox, and crush Aang with his huge paw. I hope I helped.

Any sane person would surrender to the fact that the characters from Naruto could beat the Avatar characters. But they could handle for some time. Give them some credit lol

first off, i am a fan of both.

to me, the naruto characters durability and strength seems insanely exaggerated. for instance, kabuto was thrown backwards by naruto in kyubi mode, bounced about a dozen times, skidded to a halt and hit a tree.

he was perfectly fine.

neji had a hole in him so big (and close to his heart) you could fit a soda can through it.

i am saying that if the naruto characters were a bit more, realistic (for lack of a better word), the avatar characters would win

if the naruto characters fought the avatar characters with all of there justu and there inability to know that they should have died a long time ago, the naruto characters would win

Just that avatar ppl could control the elements easier

they could spin a stick to make a tornado but naruto's been training for a while and stil can only do one move and can only do it a few times

Even though Naruto isn't my favorite anime, there's no way Avatar characters are stronger then Naruto characters!! :)

Avatar's bending is based off of martial arts. Elemental control, Avatar goes into Avatar state he becomes nigh invincible.

Goes both ways, depending on who's going up against who.
