Thick hair with choppy layers?
I have very thick, just-past-my-shoulder length hair, and I want to get choppy layers. I straighten my hair and it's side parted, if that helps. I need some help finding good pictures to sow my hairdresser. However, I dont want anything too emo/scene. A little emo/scene is ok, but keep in mind I don't tease my hair or anything like that. Thanks for your help[:

Have you thought about having her razor your ends? I have really long thick hair and that's what I have my lady do. It looks wonderful and makes the layers blend nicely. Have her put a few extra layers in the front to frame your face and when you style it you can make it look messier if you're trying to get that choppy look.

I have same type of hair as you!
I have loads of short choppy layers to make it thicker on the top and thinner on the bottom.
Here are some pictures of me and my hair (sorry it's really bad pictures):

I can bounce it up if I want or leave it more "slick".
Hope I helped!
