I have a 3 year old boxer who is a VERY enthusiastic chewer, so much so to the point where she swallows big pieces of rawhide. We bought her thinner, larger, rectangle shaped pieces of rawhide because we were afraid of her trying to swallow the smaller rawhide bones too quickly, or the long thin cylindrical ones stabbing her in the mouth/throat. Unfortunately getting the big rectangle pieces didn t work as well as we hoped- she will chew them just fine in the begin but as she reaches the last half she tries to swallow the whole thing. So far she hasnt choked, but we ve had some close calls. What are safer alternatives to rawhide that can satisfy an enthusiastic chewer but won t be a choking hazard?

There is really no other way to say it. She is an OTTB rescue so she has her quirks, but she just fights and fights and it is frustrating. She would not even trot down a longside today. When trying to get the trot she throws her nose in the air, hollows her back, pins her ears, shuffles her back feet around, twists her neck from side to side, and will try to go sideways instead of forward. This all happened in our ride today and I urged her on when she tried to go sideways and she reared and threw me off. I'm stuck, has anyone else had a horse that does this or have any kind of suggestion? Please note that the owner and I are fairly certain this is not a medical problem. She has seen the chiropractor, her feet and teeth are fine, etc. This is a behavioral problem

when i get up around 55mph, i can feel my seat vibrating and the steering wheel will shake. also, my car has been very loud lately. it starts getting loud around 40mph and gets louder the faster i go. it isn't a banging sound or anything, more like a really loud hum. are these two problems related, and how can i fix them? my car is a 2002 saturn vue, manual transmission. thank you

I have very thick, just-past-my-shoulder length hair, and I want to get choppy layers. I straighten my hair and it's side parted, if that helps. I need some help finding good pictures to sow my hairdresser. However, I dont want anything too emo/scene. A little emo/scene is ok, but keep in mind I don't tease my hair or anything like that. I was watching a movie the other day...Firehouse Dog I believe. And it said that dogs can remember a scent for up to three months...and I'm a horseback rider, so naturally that got me thinking about horses. Can they remember scents, and if so, how long?
