Car loud and shaking?

when i get up around 55mph, i can feel my seat vibrating and the steering wheel will shake. also, my car has been very loud lately. it starts getting loud around 40mph and gets louder the faster i go. it isn't a banging sound or anything, more like a really loud hum. are these two problems related, and how can i fix them? my car is a 2002 saturn vue, manual transmission. thank you

If it's not your tires then it is one of your wheel bearings. Go to autozone, they can help you out. You don't need to waste you money on a mechanic.

Have the tires checked now ... And be ready to buy new tires for the front. Seems like tire has a ply separation problem which is dangerous on speeds above 35mph.

This situation i as quickly as stumbled on and it took me a on an identical time as to artwork out what grew to become into incorrect, i ultimately pulled the engine aside to locate a piston with around scorch marks onit. The loud clicking of mine grew to become into the piston springing up and hitting the valve, and my burning smell grew to become into all of the unburnt gas going into the cat and burning off. i could advise a mechanic, in case you could not organise a tow i could sugest driving to the closest mechanic employing regularly very sturdy grab administration to quit any tension on the engine. yet regrettably it isnt incredibly properly worth commiting to a maintenance in this variety of motor vehicle. in basic terms different issues i will think of of may be able to be a comfortable difficulty with the valves interior the engine itself, it collapsed they are going to permit oil into the piston in basic terms save a watch on oil point and temp. i'm hoping this facilitates, and dont pay attention to scare mongerers in this website, if it aint blown up yet it aint going to, its in basic terms this website has alot of people not understanding a difficulty!
