No, strawberries do not ripen after being picked, and the same goes for grapes. When shopping for these two fruits, it is always best to eat a piece of the fruit before purchase, since what you buy is what you get.
Any other fruit that needs help ripening, leave out at room temperature. Any fruit that is already ripe, place it in the fridge to help it last longer.

Sorry, the berries will not get any riper than they are now. You can remove the stems, rinse under cold water and slice or halve the berries. Sprinkle with sugar, then let them marinate in the fridge for several hours. The berries will release some juices and become more sweet. You can serve the sliced berries with whipped cream or any whipped topping or serve over plain cake or over ice cream. I always marinate strawberries with sugar for Strawberry Short Cake.

If you leave them at the window the sun will ripen them after they've been picked, they have to be red though.

No, they do not ripen any further once picked. They will redden when exposed to gas but they will not taste any better

Yes, just a little and they must not be refrigerated or they wont. Separate the ripe ones to use immediately and allow the others to sit out a day or so, then refrigerate.

no, not really, so even if they aren't quite ripe it's better to eat them fresh, otherwise they start to shrivel up
