That's kind of broad.
In my opinion, persuasives are easier, because it's easier to get interested in the writing.
Think about causes that you feel passionate about...For instance, animal rights, a cure for cancer, environmental things, etc.

"How To" speeches can be very fun. Think of what you like to do or make. I did mine on how to make a peanut butter jelly sandwich.
