No, and I hope it never does. The SB is the biggest game of the year and it wouldn't be fair to have a team playing in their own stadium. Since most of the SB are played in warm weather sites (other then teams that play in domed stadiums) it penalizes teams in like the Steelers, Ravens Bills, Patriots and others. It will happen eventually but I see it as an unfair advantage. For example, if this years SB was played in Arizona instead of Florida would that have been fair? I mean you had one team (Steelers) playing for home field advantage and having a better record than the Cardinals and they would have to play them in Arizona. Why fight for home field advantage? That would be like the Pats going 16-0 in the regular season and having to go on the road for their next game. Just my two cents worth, I don't have an answer for it some time in the near future some team will have to deal with this.

Super Bowl XIV (Los Angeles Rams) was played in Pasadena, CA which is less than 30 miles away from home.

As mentioned before Super Bowl XIX was played in stanford and the 49'ers home is nearby.
