How do you impress the opposite sex?

My most recent girlfriend (from Michigan, USA) had a big thing for all things London and British and I just happened to approach her at the right time. Almost all the things I liked, discovered we both liked. From that you can take the answer as: just be yourself and if they like you, then being yourself is enough.

Use the following basic rules:

* Don't try to be something you're not.

* Be honest about what you believe in

* Don't lie about yourself (it'll catch you out later)

* Show you're interesting

* Have a sparkling personality

After that it's just be in the right place at the right time with good friends, and from there you'll meet some one who will at first like you the in due course love you for who and what you really are.

There's a cliche, I'm using the hollywood thinking here, from a film called A Bronx Tale. Sonny the gangster (Chazz Palminteri) said something like "In your life you'll meet three members of the opposite sex, the first will be a good friend, the second will be your best friend, and the third will be the one you marry" - and that's still mostly true when looking for your ideal partner.

So there you go, and for those who are in safe and secure long term relationships, I say well done and do you have a good friend who might be good for me?

I do nothing and a lot of old men are interested in me. Every now and then I attract some young guy who doesn't know how to start a conversation respectfully. Saying what's up sexy, is not the proper way to introduce yourself. I don't know why I attract these losers. I do not dress slutty and I carry myself with class.

you have to be sweet and kind and considerate and know how to dance, hopefully play an instrument, be macho and strong but sensitive and gentle, love animals, love kids, be romantic, never lie, dress well, money and a nice car helps, have a job, have ambition, want to go to college and or already graduated from college, like long walks on the beach and long talks, know exactly what to say and when to say it, be spontaneous, generous and kind to strangers. That impresses women
