Whats the difference between?

Whats the difference between white eggs and brown eggs? I heard that brown eggs were more nutritional but is there any truth behind that?

In general, chicken breeds with white ear lobes lay white eggs, whereas chickens with red ear lobes lay brown eggs. For example, in most regions of the United States, chicken eggs are generally white; while in the northeast of that country and in the United Kingdom, they are generally light-brown.

Although there is no significant link between shell color and nutritional value, there is often a cultural preference for one color over another.

The difference is the breed of chicken, some lay white and some lay brown.

There is no nutritional difference whatsoever....it is the same egg. Try buying eggs that are only fed a vegetarian diet (otherwise you can absolutely GUARANTEE that your chicken has been fed other chickens.) And also try buying the eggs that come from a local source which makes them fresher (hence more vitamins) and look for the cage-free eggs. This means that the chickens are allowed to walk around instead of being in a cage their entire lives (chickens are slaughtered at 6-8 weeks anyways.)

The better quality egg you buy means a more nutritional egg, not the color.

eggs have nothing in them but cholesterol. (200 mg each)

the only difference other than the color of the shell is the price.

    that's it..

There is no taste difference, the diffrence is the breed of chicken it comes from.

they have the same taste, nutrition etc.

There's no difference nutritionally. The color of the egg shell is determined by the breed of hen that laid it.

The difference is the color of the shell.
