With Arod injured, will the NYY look for another third-baseman to replace him? Who could it be?

Any rumors about thirdbasemen the yankees are interested in?

Well if he is out for a really extended period, they will go after Scott Rolen of Toronto, he is an upgrade defensively and has a pretty decent swing with 25-30 HR potential especially in a stacked Yankees line up. But most likely they'll make due until he is healthy and fill in with Cody Ransom. I have heard Brad Inge, Detroit and Chone Figgins, LA Angels mentioned on a short list of long term replacements, but Rolen would have to be the front runner if they could pull the deal off.

  • some say he'll play through it. Robinson Cano actually has played third and the yankees might use him but for the free agents: Ray Durham or Mark Grudzielanek
