When do flight tickets start to go up in price, I plan to depart in 17 days for a one week trip?

East coast to Denver, round trip, skiing, maybe to Vail airport.

    Purchase your tickets at least 14 days in advance and you should be all right. The prices will jump if you purchase less than 14 days in advance.

    Prices almost certainly started to go up several weeks ago, and maybe several months ago.
