How to hook my cellphone up to my 2000 BMW 3 series car?

Trying to buy and install the module is going to be prohibitively expensive and does not make sense.

You have 3 other choices (in order of price and complexity):

1. Use a bluetooth headset or bluetooth clip-on speaker (max $70)

2. Use a portable GPS unit with a bluetooth speakerphone feature (about $250)

3. Change out your sound system to an aftermarket unit which has bluetooth functionality (look at them from www.crutchfield.com)

i have continuously heard that BMWs (and Mercedes, and Audis) are unreliable compared to eastern makes, fantastically Honda and Toyota - yet i have not in any respect owned one, so i will't ensure that.
