You shouldn't.
No beliefs should be beyond scrutiny.

You don't have to respect anything you don't want to. When your time is up is when you will find out about our magic sky daddy. Of course it will be to late for you then....but.....

It's entirely your call what you respect or not. Having said that, it might be worth your time to check those beliefs out - they just might be telling the truth, however badly they are telling it.

Very few people here really care what you believe or even have any idea who you are. Quit coming here tomorrow and no one would know. So you are not obligated to respect anything.

Because you probably want them to respect your beliefs. That's how I feel at least. Respect them at first, but once they disrespect you then have at it with their beliefs. Put those hypocritical pricks in their place, and spare the respectful

Because their "magic sky daddy" can rain hell fire and brimstone down on your sarcastic candy a$$!!! Relatively speaking of course.

There is no reason to respect nonsense. While the delusional have the right to be delusional we have the right to tell them to shove their delusion up the poop shoot. If they keep their delusions to themselves I will keep my opinion about their delusions to myself. Its a good deal I hope the delusional listen.

same reason that people shoudl respect your beliefs. THEY ARE BELIEFS.
It is tit for tat.
I am an atheist...I respect someone's beliefs and their right to believe them...I jsut dont believe or agree with the same beliefs.
I would expect them to respect my beliefs and my right to believe them.

Because you could go to Hell. Best reason I know.
