why are the fundies who keep shouting that the bibles prophesies are coming true, not warning people before the disasters strike, or at least try to save the countless people who where slain? Could it be that they can only attach prophesies to disasters that have already happened and that it is impossible to predict anything with a book written by bronze age goat herders?

So, either these fundies are guilty of murder for refusing to warn people of the coming of a predicted natural disaster, or the bible just cold casts, and they just fill in the blanks, witch is it?

why the heck did it not predict the coming of the Spanish conquistadors that massacred the living hell out of them.

I will offer no evidence that it exists, but until you can prove to me that it does not exist, then I will have to say that I win. So can any of you offer evidence that the giant statue of me on the planet Zed does not exist?

Now remember as you tell me that you can't prove a negative I will be sitting with my fingers rammed in my ears singing, while people who believe as I do pat me on the back and make crude insults and laughably lame jokes about those who disagree with us.

If a Christian comes up to me, and tells me that I am evil and that as I am an atheist that I have no morals and that I support genocide, that Christian is defended by his fellows who tell us that he is "preaching the truth of the bible"

Yet when I say, "No, you are a bigot, and have no right to judge me, or any other atheists" I am told that I am "oppressing" Christians.

All these fundies are on a questions and answers site, yet they keep telling us that all the answers are in their respective holy books, so isn't asking questions of others questioning their faith? Isn't that a sin?

So why are all these fundies on R&S?

1. We can craft an argument backed in science and logic and the fundies just dismiss it out of hand with "you just hate god" or "read bible verse number 50 billion"

2. We take attack and attack from them, yet when one of us snaps after taking so much abuse and fires back, well, then we all get called bitter and hateful

3. No matter what qualifications we have, or what proof we bring out, middle aged housewives, men with fingers smelling of their daughters, and brainwashed children think that they are smarter than everyone with an actual degree.

4, Fundies seem incapable of typing the language they where born hearing.

Sorry, just had to get some stuff off my chest.

If they wanted abortions to stop, how about you give mothers who would not be able to care for the child a little support. Or how about medical reserch so we can cure the disorders that would kill the child or the mother.

Without providing evidence for me to refute is like asking me to disprove the existence of a magic little man that lives in their eye, and then covering that eye with a eye patch and saying, "just have faith"

You are telling someone that disagrees with you, not a god, not a religious text, as those can be interpreted a million different ways, that they will burn in a hell forever. That is the most disgusting and horrible thing I have ever heard.

People getting sucked up to a paradise and sneering down at those that found a different path, who are suffering and in great amounts of pain. That sounds like some serious twisted shiza to me.

Shouldn't the fact that there is no proof of a god support our position, and that there has not been any proof for any deity ever in human history?

but what about the billions upon billions who did not get a miracle healing and died? Did they get sick on your gods off day?

Why would a being, that supposedly made all things manipulate reality just so a believer is not inconvenienced?

Maybe as an atheist I don't understand it, but it seems fairly strange to me that an all powerful super being, especially one who is alleged to have killed billions of people in a giant flood, would give a crud about a single believer.

Now replace "statue of me on the planet Zog" with the word god and tell me how it suddenly makes seance.

I keep getting the same message over and over from those that send me hate mail. It is always something along the lines of "How can you deny god, your ******"

So next time you fundies want to send me hate mail, please take that extra minute and really write something creative.

Stop saying atheism is a religion, we have no scripture, or tenets, or anything that even remotely resembles a religion. It is almost as aggravating as your over use of pascals wager.

Look, attack us all you want, just get your bloody facts strait

some kind of untraceable story in witch a family member or someone they knew recovered from a horrible disease/accident and became whole again.

My question, is what is being said by their deity with the many more people who never recover? Did they get injured/sick on their gods day off or something?

if so, why would he want people to call themselves "soldiers of god"?

I am often asked by fundies "where you there to see life begin by natural means"? and when I answer no, of course not, they laugh and say their point has been proven.
