Why are we(atheists) asked to disprove a deity that has no proof behind it?
Shouldn't the fact that there is no proof of a god support our position, and that there has not been any proof for any deity ever in human history?
Oh come now, your opinions matter to me.

This is where the mistake is make I really don't care, one way or the other!
There is no proof now, nor has there ever been any proof of ANY deities!
Where religion gets you is, that YOU have to have faith that they do!!
Personally, I don't believe in all of the stuff, and it is a waste of my time! I have other things to think about! Like dealing with, and living in the real world
I am living my life for TODAY!

Because the Christians think it's clever to ask US to dis-prove there statement. That would be like IJR asking you to disprove the fact that IJR has a Fire Breathing Invisible Dragon that poops Marshmallows living in IJR's garage. IJR could show you a bag of Marshmallows, and scorch marks on the car, but you would have to disprove the Dragon is real.

I agree with proof with science to disprove anything is "real". I myself have experienced odd things that I am unable to prove or disprove, except by my witnesses that happened to be with me when they happened. I am just glad I belong to neither side of this religious battle. The catholics and christians, muslims ....seem too ignorantly accepting for my tastes and the athiests seem a bit closed minded to possibility which started science in the first place. I use both ;)

If God created the universe and humans are a part of the universe then how can humans say for certain that a God who exists outside of the universe isn't real? So for a human in the universe to say a God outside of the universe certainly doesn't exist is stupid. Do you think when God created the universe he left little pieces of evidence behind so we humans could use our amazing detective skills to find him?
Imagine that.
Human upon finding the last piece of evidence that God exists.
Human: "Hey I found the last piece of evidence. I'm gonna go find God now" Goes and finds God.
God: "Hey! You found me! It took you humans long enough!"
Human: "Yeah we're so slow. lololololololololol"
God: "lolololololololol"

I say that having the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is proof of God's existance. I also say that evolution is both mathematically and practically impossible. So, to quote Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, "Once you have eliminated the impossible, what ever is left, however unlikely, must be the truth."

I don't care what you believe or don't believe, that's your choice and I respect it. My problem is people trying to shove their ideas down my throat. Let's let people live their lives and stop trying to make everyone agree with you. Their is no right or wrong answer when it comes to faith. It's a personal belief that helps people deal with their lives, so lighten up and do your own thing.

There's more than enough proof that Christianity is a demented manipulator of people and the world would be better off without it.

Im sitting on the fence because its a waste of time and energy. People are entitled to whatever they want to believe/not believe in

Because lots of theists cannot understand the meaning of "burden of proof".
And, they cannot see the difference between "feeling" and "knowing" either.
