James Carville said that he wished Bush would fail, no headlines?

James Carville said hours before the 9/11 attacks he wanted George Bush to fail, and he is a Democrat Strategist not an entertainer. He wasn't demonized by the media.

So why are they going after Rush who is a radio entertainer?

Because he took it back. He said when he heard about the attacks that "this changes everything."

Democrats are allowed that privilege when it's convenient. Didn't you get the memo? It was in the paragraph that said they had to pay their taxes if they got caught.

    From your source:

"On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, just minutes before learning of the terrorist attacks on America, Democratic strategist James Carville was hoping for President Bush to fail, telling a group of Washington reporters: "I certainly hope he doesn't succeed.""

I have a feeling he said exactly what he didn't want GWB to succeed at, but your source has conveniently quote mined the rest of the quote away. I don't really care what media talking heads say. Nobody else should either.

The reason you didn't see it in the news, is that we had more important things to worry about after 9/11.

I absolutely thing that he was wrong to say that. I think that anyone in the public eye should not unnecessarily divide our nation by pitting the left against the right, and vice versa.

Rush is a radio entertainer, but he does not market himself as such. If he truly believed he was in entertainment, he wouldn't be giving speeches in rallys, publishing articles in the WSJ, etc...

You do realize this was over 8 years ago, right? (I guess it took this long for Limbaugh to find something to throw to his lemmings in order to defend his RECENT idiotic remarks, huh?)...you get the day's first ...DUH!!!! (by the way, Bush failed all on his own...)
